Hi Everyone,

I felt like making a fathers day card.  My father passed away years ago, but I still have fond memories of him  and he was one of a kind. So this card is to him and probably for a few challenges out there.

I used my scraps from MME Indie Chic nutmeg and added them to a PTI stampers select  (white) base, and the pennants were cut from sketched shapes die set.
Don't you just love it when scraps work out so well?

The stamp set I used was "Deep in the Woods"
from The Alley Way stamps with versamark onyx black ink

Hi Everyone, 
I hope you are all having a great weekend.
I am entering this in The Alley ways stamp challenge. I only have one set of their stamps, but there are always freebies on their site, this paint brush and the sentiment happened to be one of them.  I am going by their inspired by photo and I was inspired by the rainbow colors and the black, there wasn't much white in the photo.  I think my rainbow colors would have gotten lost in the card if the back ground were black. I am also entering this in the moxie fab challenge with the sketch below. There are some other challenges listed below that I am entering.
For the paint brush I used Copic markers
and for my paint splats I used Jenni Bowlin inks
My base paper is PTI stampers select and the Black is AC
I also printed the digi stamps on PTI stampers select and it worked great

Hi Friends, 

I am just back quickly to enter a couple of card challenges.

I went out  for lunch today and had fish tacos maybe that's what made me think to make this fun card. This is my only stamp set from alley way stamps. Although I do have all their freebies and if you want them you can go here.

I am enter this in the Alley Way photo inspired challenge and the  Kraft journal --Clean and simple.

I used copic markers to color the stamped images and they are all from the Alley Way Stamps store.

Hey!!

I got some new copic markers at the Expo also. The cat is colored in all the new markers plus the gray.

I have to get this post up quick because this is a one day linky party over at The Alley way stamps. I just love this stamp set, sitting pretty and I love the way the card came out. I fussy cut everything. 

This will fit the linky party and the sketch challenge. I am going to play with these some more and if I get time enter the linky party again.   here goes for now.

Deliquesce Super Sparkle red/gold Pillow box

Hi Everyone,

 This is DIANA L. From DL.ART with an extra post day here at Creative Inspiration paints, I am sharing with you a couple of projects that I have been working on.

First of all I have been making these pillow boxes for treats and this one is made from black card stock and I embossed super sparkle red Deliquesce onto it  and then the word enjoy in super sparkle gold Deliquesce

I like the way it came out I think it looks very elegant

and romantic and with Valentine's day around the corner, why not?

Now on a more whimsical fun note, I also made this fun little kitty Valentines day card.

I used this fun photo for inspiration

I just ordered this cute little set of stamps from the Alleyway stamps, are they cute or what?

Creative inspiration shimmering paints used: Mocha Latte, Beige blush , Fuchsia and a jeweled inspiration in garnet.

Hi Everyone,

It is 31 degrees here right now -- We may get SNOW!!!

This is pretty exciting, because we normally do not get these cold temperatures. 

I will keep you posted.

The alley way stamps are pretty fun and whimsical. I do not own any yet, except for the freebies that are offered. There a few in the new release that I like and will probably get, but for now I am happy with the few freebies they offer so you can enter the challengges for a chance to win a set. This is the photo that inspired me to make the card that is just below it

I took a strip of paper and used whisper stroke markers to make the orange lines, then I wrote some of the numbers in like on the photo and inked the edges. I printed the lady bug colored her in then placed her on top of the strip that was mounted to the K&co. background paper

My card base is PTI Kraft card stock

I love making these cards I can sometimes make one in ten minutes, this one took a bit longer because of the embossing, this is one of the best embossing products I have ever used. it only stuck where it was suppose to and went back in the jar super easily.. On to my card I hope you enjoy it and I hope you will try creative inspiration paints

The stamp set is a freebie from The AlleyWay Stamps. The Kraft card stock is PTI, the yellow is core'dinations
from my scrap pile. The chocolate brown PTI was cut using Spellbinders scalloped square die and embossed. The ribbon is vanilla cream from PTI

I used Peachy Keen Stamps  laughy taffy faces with Creative Inspirations Deliquesce Metallic Copper -- it is super fine
I love how it embossed.

Hi Friends,
 I found some new whimsical fun stamps, The Alley Way Stamps. You have probably seen me use them a couple of times.
Check out their site, they have some great designers and lots of inspiration. PS freebies--- free digital stamps. That is what I used on this card

I colored each of the bats with copic markers and fussy cut them, and popped them up with foam tape.
The card stock is PTI and the patterned paper is Authentique "Enchanted collection"

I finished the inside of the card, If you can get in the habit of doing this right away, it is pretty easy, because you use up some of your scraps and then it is totally finished.

Good Evening Friends,

You probably wonder where I have been,. This past week I was making gratitude journals for a Women's dance conference, that took place yesterday, and I helped with registration, however I did not participate as far as the dance part went. It was wonderful!!

Today I am working on a piece of art that is due for an art exhibit tomorrow.  I am just waiting for paint to dry right now. I had minor surgery both last week and this week, and neither one had anything to do with my shoulder.  I've still been going to Physical therapy and in a  month we will see how I am progressing.

On to a happier note.......
I made this quick card from digi stamps that are free from The Alley Way stamps.
For a few challenges.

I used Copic markers together with Creative inspiration Paints. Sunshine for the fire on the candle and rose quartz for the frosting.
PTI Krat card stock and Aunthentique:uncommon
I was inspired by the photo above.

I'm hoping for a better next two weeks and a little more time to myself. So I can come visit all of you
 more.

Hi again Friends,

I made this card for a friend who is having a rough time right now and also to fit a few challenges.  I felt blessed to be able to make this card for my friend.
I'm trying to get the hang of the copic markers I know it is going to take a while. I really like using them the colors are so vivid. I colored this little lady bug from the Alley Way stamps it is a freebie on their site. They have quite a few to choose from. To enter their challenge you do need to use one of their stamps. My sentiment is a mirror image of the one above it, a reflection.
