SATURDAY-AFTERNOON-- CHA in JULY

HI all,

I really wanted to go to CHA in Rosemont, Illinois next week , but my family are coming out this way to celebrate mine and my nieces birthday in a few weeks, it would just be too much--.

I will be there in spirit because they will be flying banners from all the states as decorations whether I win any thing or not it will still be fun just being part of helping decorate- my banner is very simple and I used Birthday Bash @Fit to page , and then Destinations for my images the papers I used were AC card stock, Core'dinations and then my stash or should I say scrap. I used gold stickles on all the little scallops except for where the emblem of San Francisco is

MONDAY( PST/TUESDAY(EST)- Celebrate The Occasion Challenge #12

I love when Celebrate The Occasion Team #2 is up for designing, because that means I get  to share with my team mates, my design and how I interpret the challenge and see all of their wonderful designs, and then encourage all of you to join in on the challenge this is Challenge #12.  CLICK HERE  to see the other designers and enter the challenge

It is an exciting week. The theme this week is graduation. I racked my brain, trying to think of anyone graduating this year from anything, even down to preschool - so I would have an idea on what to design. Then, it came to me, This is one of those years divisible by 5 that I graduated from San Jose State University. So I made my self a banner "why not" I said. Trust me most of the time it is not about me, but the theme fit. I did not quite get the blue right our blue is more of a cobalt blue the blue I had in stock was more of a Prussian blue. It gets the message across.
The banner was cut from Birthday bash a 5". The caps were cut from everyday paper dolls. I used satin ribbon ATG glue gun and my homemade dimensionals- I used a gold jelly roll pen to color the top of the tassel to give it a metal look and then white gel pen to give definition to the cap. It spans 40" across, not counting the ends of the ribbon on either side, which is approximately another 12-15 inches on each side.

MORE---- THURSDAY

I made this TAG for Birthday Sundaes

anything but a card-- I had made a few extra cakes, when I was making mother's birthday card ,so I decided to make it into a tag for this challenge. I really like the Bright cheerful colors I did use stickles and made my own dimensionals or foam tape, what ever you want to call it. I use so much this of this - making my own is pretty economical -- I'll explain with a video either today or tomorrow seems to  work just as well.
The tag is 4 1/2 by 7
the cake is from simply charmed
Happy Birthday is from Birthday Bash
I used a copic marker in green to color the dish
the papers are AC card stock and K& Co

MORE---- FRIDAY

Today is my sister Sharon's birthday. I made this card for her, then I checked on  fantabulous Cricut. and Birthday Sundaes found the  challenge this week is  Birthday,  so I enter and I get two things done at once, (Good for me).

I may even post again later today.  I know it is my sis and all, and I can't believe it, and I'm going to post this anyway, I made it from scrap. The tag cut out was in the scrap pile so I used the fiskar punch cut along the edge, then I found a piece of brown in the pile and did the same trimmed it a little.  The happy birthday  and the orange were from the space cadet B day card.  The base is PTI vintage cream  5x7 (That was not from scrap).
The butterfly was from my M's Haul.
I hope that wasn't too much rambling on.

FRIDAY- My Pink Stamper ------ BLOG HOP AND --- EXTRA

The top image is the one I did for The Pink Stamper Blog-Hop- (March Blog Hop)  THE LAYOUT

Recipe:      12x12 card stock gcd studios (whoop de doo) line
American crafts card stock for the Black  cut 8x8 and the white circle and strip
The large & small  polka dot paper is from me & my big ideas
The black scalloped oval is black chipboard die cut

The bottom one is in celebration of Andrew's  9th  birthday I made that one today from Birthday Bash the first time I have used this cartridge.
I just finished the hop and this layout-- so I will be back later to put in all the details.
A2 size card PTI  spring rain
Punched the waves with Fiskars wave punch

Cut the seal @ 3 1/2"
kept the dial set at 3 1/2 for cutting all the other elements out

There are 5 layers to this design with a total of 12 images
The eyes and the nose were too small to use, so I used a black glaze pen which was great because it gave the nose a wet look I did the nose after the photo above.
