I know it is Day 5 of 12 days of Christmas over at THE PINK STAMPER, I got a little behind trying to keep my art room clean.
Then I got my days mixed up I put day 2 and 4 together. Which I don't mind because I love the combo pink and Green.
This is for the Day two Challenge: Random acts of Kindness
I usually have little bags all made up in the refrigerator- no decorations on top with some sort of trail mix in it. I throw a few in a tote bag and when I go shopping downtown -- If I am approached by someone who asks me for money -- "Can you spare some change" . I just give them one of the trail mix packs. They are usually happy to get something. I like that I have something nutritious to share with them.
I thought I would do something different. I accumulate these hotel shampoos and soaps from trips I take, most of the time I end up taking them with me, because I bring my own shampoo and conditioner. Then, I have a bunch of these in basket under the sink. These fit nicely in a regular zip-lock sandwich bag. I used Snow Angel Cricut imagine cartridge. I printed a piece of patterned paper @ 5x7 the 5 inch size and it fit perfect folded over the baggie. My 3 little images cover the staples cut @2.25. After I put it all together I realized the soap was upside down. I made myself not open it to fix it- That is good for me.
I used the sentiment from
"Winter Treats and Sayings' My pink stamper stamp set
ink: Tim Holtz: Festive berries
All images; Cricut imagine : snow angel

ReplyDeleteThat is so thoughtful and a great idea. I usually take mine to the women's shelter in my area.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great idea! I keep two large Ziplocs full of supplies, socks, a notebook, chips, sanitizer and a list of the local homeless shelters in my car and hand it out when I see a person in need.
