Good Evening Everyone,
The last two nights I tried to leave comments on some of your blogs and blogger is not letting me. I'm going to try again tonight, and I'll just keep trying.
I have a niece that is turning 14 next month. I have made her cards ever since she was a baby. Last time I visited she said she wanted to make cards like I do. Then, she asked me do you have a Cricut?
Her mom does inventory at Michael's, so she gets to see all the latest when she gets to shop there. I always put hers and her brothers initial on their cards ( hers on hers, his on his). When they were younger it took them awhile to find them. Now that they are older it is pretty easy.
I think I will put together a starter kit on making cards for her. I think she will really like that and a M's gift card. I know she is not reading my blog so I can write this.
.
For the numbers I used Story book and for everything else I used winter Frolic I printed everything from the imagine machine from the blossom cartridge .
This is a 5x7 card.
I used Tim Holtz ink,
Inkadinkadoo stamps
Fantabulous cricut challenge:

ReplyDeleteOhhhh, I sure hope I'm not one of the ones you can't comment on; I was hoping I'd resoved that the same way you did. At least I can now comment on my own blog, so that's something... lol!

BTW - I think their are still several of us that's still having the same issues with commenting too. Hope they get this resolved.... it sucks :( I
I'm having issues with Blogger, too, Diana. It's really frustrating. I was able to get to your comments finally after about the third try. Sometimes I can comment, sometimes I can't, and sometimes nothing happens at all. I click on something and nothing. Just stays where you are. Adorable card; love it!--Pat N.
ReplyDeleteHi Diana:) Super cute card! Love the font of your sentiment:) Thank you for stopping by:)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Norma
Wonderful Snowman Birthday Card. Noticed something peculiar with blogger ever since this past wk. I have been able to comment with no problem but when I go to a blog instead of being at the top of the blog post somehow I end up at the bottom of the blog post where the comments section is and I have to scroll back up to see the blog post. Having worked in computer software I think blogger has a software bug or they decided to enhance it this way that is caused by a link error because there is a link to where the blog post comment section is. Sure is not the way I would have enhanced it. Is there a place where we can give feedback to let blogger know of these such things???

What a fun card...your neice is going to love it. I am having the same problem with leaving comments...but only on some blogs - mine included...I can't see the comments that are left on my own blog. Blogger is frustrating at times. Anyway, thanks for joining us at BBTB2 this week.
ReplyDeleteCute card- and how cool that she wants to make her own cards too!!! Sounds like a cricut is in her future. Blogger is a mystery to me- sometimes in works- sometimes it doesn't (although for me it works better using Google Chrome browser instead of Internet Explorer for some reason) :)Amy

Adorable birthday card and what a sweet aunt you are introducing her to the Cricut. She's gonna love it. Thanks so much for joining us at BBTB2. xxD
ReplyDeleteDarling card. I love how you put the initials on the card to find. That's an excellent idea. I started letting my granddaughter help me create with the Cricut when she was 3 yrs. old. Your niece will love her cardmaking kit and the M's gift card. Thanks for sharing with us at BBTB2.
ReplyDeleteOh how adorable. Your niece is gonna flip out when she gets her gift card and starter kit :) Love it! Thanks for creating with us at FCCB this week :)
