Happy Monday Friends,

Wow! what a whirlwind of a week last week was. It was so much fun, but I am back to reality now, which is not so bad either. I have a really fun project to share with you today. This is recycled, I had this little potpourri jar that I had not been using and I just loved the shape of it. I decided to use the chalk paint that I bought a couple of years ago. It took about an hour to dry in between layers. Then I added the spider and his web from Mr. Bones stamp set and embossed it with white Deliquesce from creative inspiration paints. Isn't this just the cutest little not too spooky vase and funky flowers? The flowers are cut from Funky flowers die set using Authentique paper.

Hi Friends,
Welcome to the BBTB2 challenge. Our DT sister Michelle has chosen the challenge this week, she has challenged us to create a card, layout or project using a "Squirrel or nuts" as the theme.
You must use a cricut cartridge with any die cut. That is it!! and have fun.

Now that you have seen my project here, go over to the BBTB2 challenge blog check out what my talented DT sisters have created to inspire you. Then, go create "A squirrel or nuts" project and link up your own card, project or layout.

I have to tell you a little about my project this really took a long time, I know you may look at it and think, sure it did. Well, this was my first print then cut with the explore machine and it took awhile setting it up calibrating printing many images that did not come out right. It will just take a few times and I should have it down just like I do the imagine machine.

I have been working on getting some more items in my ETSY shop, but I just found out I got accepted into the juried LSB Arts, Antiques and craft faire. I am so excited. The fall show is the busiest and most fun, so I am really looking forward to it and will now be even busier producing more inventory.

Hi Friends,

Did you miss me?
I have been out of town this week. My E-mail quit working on my cell phone,
Needless to say there was a glitch in my challenge, I am sure some of you noticed. It is fixed now and ready to enter.
So when it rains it pours, coming home, we were stuck on the runway for two hours - due to flash flood warnings, then we went back to the gate for another 2 hours, then we were given the go ahead to take off. We made it home in the wee hours of the morning.

The middle part of the trip was the best. My sister and her husband were in Las Vegas celebrating their Anniversary (A big one), we surprised them and showed up and took them to Ruth's Chris steakhouse for dinner. I will have to admit it was a pretty darn good steak.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #141

THEME: COLOR CHALLENGE

Use purple and green(you can add any other colors,but predominately purple and green)

Here is a close up of the flowers I used inkadinkado chalk ink to color the flowers those are prills in the center and viva 3D silver paint on the edges.

I used Tombow Irojiten pastel rain forest pencils to color the lady. Heartfelt creations paper and dies for the flowers and leaves

I also inked around the edges to help give some separation of the lady from the window.

CTMH black distressing ink

I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Hi Friends,

You know I am really having fun with the Cricut CTMH Artfully Sent Cartridge. There are over 400 projects on this cartridge, including 6- 5x7 envelopes with liners, and seven 4 1/4 x 5.5 . There are 50 pop-up base cards, 41 swing cards and a myriad of other fun projects including Picture my life pocket cards in 3" and 6".

A friend of mine had a birthday last week and I made this pretty card for her, you can watch my video to see how I did it. It was super easy.

Hi Friends,
Today is the last day of summer and I can already see the leaves changing color. I love it. I love the cool evenings and being able to keep the windows open to get the fresh clean ocean breeze coming through the house.
Well Mr. bones is at it again. I said he would be a lot a lot this time of the year.
These are paper moulds, believe it or not, made from TP. This would be perfect for a Mr. Mummy -- If anyone knows of a cute one let me know.
I thought this was a lot of fun.

I used Mr. bones, the pumpkin and the spider web and moulded them

The hardest part was waiting for them to dry.
I tried to move the drying process along with the heat embosser, but

That was not working too well because the tissue ply started to separate. Be patient is the key here for this one. I am definitely going to make more of these.Thank you Danielle for this TP paper moulding idea.

Here is how I chose the winners and of course, I used Random.org, but before I could do that I had to add round one to round 2.

There were 45 entries in round #2-- which would be the first 45 numbers,
then to that I added the 28 entries from round #1 giving me a total of 73.

Those numbers would correlate like this from round #1
#1=46
#2=47
#3=48 --etc. in round # 3 the 73 numbers will be added to the total number of entries -- with round #2 coming in right after the numbers at the end of round #3 . I hope that makes sense to you, it made sense to me and that is why I am doing it this way.

Round #3 will begin soon- The prizes get bigger and better each round!! Read below to see how you can have a better chance at winning. The next round will have 3 prizes. I will let you know soon what they are.

I don't know about you but I just love looking through idea books as reference to get ideas for new projects.
I like to window shop and basically look at the new trends for future projects and ideas.
Since I started selling the CTMH line of products, I am experiencing the wonderful quality of the products and I just love looking through the new Annual Inspirations idea book and catalogue. The new catalogues retail for $6.00 and the shipping is $5.20. They have more pages and the format fits better in a shipping folder. There are so many projects and ideas to create from that one can get overwhelmed. I have had mine for a month now and I just love all the new workshops on the go. They will be available to the general public on August 1st, but I got my hands on a few and I would like to give one away to a lucky randomly picked FOLLOWER
