Welcome to week #2 
of the DL.ART Thankful Thursday

 Challenge #210 "CIRCLES & STRIPES" 

As you know the team is on vacation until September and I am having a Guest design call, if you are interested please send me an e-mail, my contact info is at the top left.

This is the last month of summer. I hope you all enjoy it very much.

What do you like better circles or stripes? I have decided to combine them for this challenge. I also used the verve sketch and thought I would get a start on the Christmas cards.

On to my project.

The stamp set I used is CTMH yuletide joy (retired) the dsp is DCWV and PTI. There are a few changes I would make if I did this card again. I look forward to seeing your entries and see what you create with circles and stripes.

 Here is the Bride and groom, maid of honor and best man 

 I love how the dress came out I used crystal stickles and the swirl embossing folder white picot edged satin ribbon-- What a beautiful bride

 For the Maid of honor and brides maids dresses I used Bazzill basics brocade for the dress. I also used TimHoltz fades embossing folder and wine organza ribbon for the bow

I used AC card stock for the Bride groom and all the groom's men outfits

Mary has five bridesmaids including the maid of honor and of course there are five groomsmen for Leo including his best man

DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #107

THEME:   RAIN  (be inspired)

I was feeling a little Tim Holz--y here, but not too much.
For the man image I used Creative Inspiration Deliquesce metallic copper (more visible in the lower picture).
Pretty color I then used a combination of re-inkers to color over the embossing and enhance the paper.
I used versamark onyx black for the stamped sentiment.
PTI stampers select white  and Hand made paper with stitching.
I used a metallic copper gel pen for the rain drops

I added three silver Imaginesce studs in the right hand corner

The challenge will be open until 11:59 PST  April 23, 2013.

I am really looking forward to seeing all your creative projects. There were

over 400 entries  last month, I love seeing them and I love to come to your blog and visit. I sure hope your ready for spring.

This graphics 45  "Place In Time"12 x 12 paper pad I have been using for the monthly challenge design is really beautiful, each month it has scenes that are relevant to that particular month and the season of the year.

I particularly like the vintage look of these papers. For my base I used bazzill in a blue shade 5 x 7 and all the other papers are G-45.  I did use the viva pearl pen,  I don't think anyone could make a mistake using this pen the pearls always come out looking great.   I am not taking credit for that, it is the product.

The love was cut out of Beyond birthdays. I also used my MME corner chomper punch on the edges my other one dropped and broke, unfortunately this one does not round the corners as smoothly as the other one did, but they are round

THEME: THANK YOU CARD

The challenge will be open until 11:59 Jamuary 22, 2013.

I used PTI Kraft card stock for  the base. The designer papers are from Graphics 45 the rosette was cut from the Tim Holtz sizzix die. I used Jenni Bowlin spice tin ink with an inkadinkadoo stamp. The texture is hemp. Here is a video I made on how to make the rosette.
