Hi Friends,

A couple of weeks ago, I found out a dear friend of mine was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Sad to say it is inoperable. I made this card for her to give. Please keep her in your prayers her name is Bonnie.

I used a lot of scraps for the center of the card and a left over hexagon.

This will please Bonnie, she likes recycled things.

I have to say I am so excited today, not only because I got to pick the challenge over at BBTB2, but because it is my mom's birthday and this birthday cake is for her, I know it is just one piece, but how much cake can one person Have? It is already in her hands and I hope she enjoys the goodies inside.

I used Desert sand ink for the Happy birthday. I used markers to color the ribbon and the edge of the flower to match and added stickles on the sides like frosting.

Good Morning Friends,

I did not get in until 9:30 last night. It took that long to get the room ready. It is mainly used by the high school youth group. Needless to say it needed a bit of cleaning, prior to decorating, unfortunately I forgot to bring the room - smell remover. I have to get hopping, but before I do I wanted to share the card I made for the women with you. I will have these in my Etsy store and for each card purchased I will be donating $1.50 to the women's mission trip to Zambia, from our church which is TLC.org. Each card varies, by the word's in the background, on the left side. I'll check in later and let you know how it went. I know each woman that goes will be blessed. Click Here to go to my ETSY store

Good Morning Friends,

I am really running late, I need to get to over there to decorate but my driveway was blocked plus I made some banana bread for the hubs to take to mom and another one for my decorating buddies. I have to load my car and get out of here, see you tonight unless I am totally exhausted.. I have to get the manicure and pedicure in to.

MOTHER'S DAY

Here is a card I made for my mom for mothers day. I like that it is so pretty and feminine my mother just loves flowers. so this is perfect for her.

In the very center of the flower I have added prills. They are a new type of embellishment but they represent the center of a flower very well..

Then I added some beautiful glitter to bling it up a bit. All products are heartfelt creations. The flower is from the majestic die and stamp set.

I am so fortunate that my mother is still here with us. She is so wise in many areas, and I am so thankful that I can still come to her for guidance and answers to questions, even if sometimes it is over the phone.

Good Morning Friends,

It is design team day over at Bitten by the Bug 2. Our DT sister Caroline chose the challenge this week. Because the birds a chirping and they are happy, she decided we should all use a bird on our project.
Check out what my talented DT sisters have created. Then, come back and link up a project that fits the challenge rules. you can read those on the BBTB2 sidebar.

The cute little bird and banner are from Birthday Bash and I printed them with the imagine from the bubblegum stripes cartridge. I water colored the background paper, because I wanted it light and flowing. I cut the tag and the cupcake from the art Philosophy cartridge and used the companion stamp set that comes with it I added the upper tag first and then the bird on the banner working him underneath and then on top I colored the cupcake in with copic markers and then popped it up with. Another friends birthday this week, so I am happy I got this card done.

Hi Friends,
I have a lot going on this week as I am sure many of you do. I am so happy Easter is here I love this day!!! I think my card speaks for it self and that is what makes me happy.

Happy Easter!!
I have had this cartridge for quite a while and after having used it and looking at it, I think it was made to use in Sunday school to help tell bible stories. All the images remind me of children's bible story books. The images are very simple and each one depicts a character out of the New Testament. I used the New testament cartridge along with Nursery tales imagine cartridge to create the patterned paper. The background paper is from pink paisley. The stamped sentiment is from Close To My Heart Hopscotch Alphabet. I love the design of this stamp set. The alphabet comes with both upper and lowercase and numbers and punctuations.

I used foam tape to pop Jesus up, give Him a little dimension. I love the way this card came out.

Aren't these just the cutest ever? SVGCUTS.com. I used AC cardstock, pastels and white and Graphics 45 from "secret garden", last year collection. For the eyes I am using skittles from the latest Spring collection

Aren't these the most adorable paper bunnies you have seen. I would love to keep them for pets, but I am going to ship them out.

Looks like my bunnies are hopping out of the azalea bush now. Last week the azaleas were in full bloom, they were so pretty.

Hi Friends,

I signed, up last Monday with Close to my Heart. Within 72 hours my kit arrived.

Before you watch the video I have to warn you I did not edit it. At the end where you see me looking for the inks I keep referring to them as stamps. I really meant to say ink -- Yes I do know the difference. I am still amazed at all the goodies in this kit and a bit overwhelmed. The inks are on page 138 in the idea book. You can look at that on the online catalogue or if you prefer a physical catalog, they are located on my right sidebar.

There are forty different colors including the black.

If you have any questions at all about any of the products feel free to contact me I have spent over 40 hours this last week familiarizing myself with them and all the training I could consume.

Hi Friends,

I am super excited to share this card with you. I used the Artiste cartridge which I was so excited to get, Free with my kit. I love the fact that it has 9 swing cards in it. I will be making these for the next several posts. They are super quick and easy and have the WOWSER effect!! This one is for a special friend. Which is late but it is going in the mail first thing tomorrow. Check this out.

This is my final one. I used the CTMH slate ink and copic marker YG038 for the green around the edge. The stamped image is from Art Philosophy Tags

I want you to see the swing part of the card.

I used desert sand for the sentiment on this one. I was playing around with the different ways of using the stamps and ink.

I was pretty happy with how these came out. The paper is Carta Bella Wildflower.

It is design team day over at Bitten by the Bug 2

Our Design team sister Brenda has chosen as the Theme of our challenge this week "Easter " After you look at my post be sure to go over to the rest of the BBTB2 design teams blogs and see and learn how they did their projects.
I have to tell you a funny story. First of all here is a question... Did you ever notice how my team mate Brenda and I call ourselves twins? Here is how that came about... check out Brenda's blog background. One day I changed my blog background and I had no idea it was the same as hers. When I went to her blog I thought I was still at mine and when she came over to mine, she thought she was still at hers (sounds like a Dr. Seuss story coming up, huh? As the story goes. Every time I would enter the challenge she would say she almost used the same cricut cut. Now, today funny thing is, we did not use the same cut but they do look similar and they are both from Cricut card cartridges. I think it is fun having a blog twin. I also think it is really nice having a wonderful team that is just like a family. Just like all the teams I have been on.

Aren't they adorable? This is the only one I embellished. I like the contrast on this one, but I have to get them in the mail today so they make it to their destination. Happy Easter Week everyone!
