Happy Easter Friends,

I did need to make a cute card and it had to have a bunny on it and I needed it for a special person

This is an A7 size card

The card stock is PTI

The bottom paper is DCWV  Blossoms and butterflies

the top paper is K&Co. Brenda Walton small wonders
the image is from the Sil store: bunny
and I color filled it with the basic colors in the the designer studio software, printed it then cut it out.

The sentiment and bubble are my idea/design hand printed and then I inked the edges

Good evening  Friends,
I'm sending you lots of laughter for tomorrow
I hope you are all rested up for what ever fun activities you have planned for tomorrow.
I 'm still experimenting with  watercolor technique and embossing.  I am also trying to keep it CAS.  The Creative Inspirations black Deliquesce really worked beautifully here. The water color technique was achieved with the Jenni bowlin re- inkers. I accidently squirted the inks and that splattered my card stock, then, I thought that is a happy accident.  I may even do that on purpose next time

Here is a close up of the stamp and the ink so you can see how it looks. The embossing powder gets so shiny.  It is really easy to work with.

Hi Friends,

 This seemed appropriate for me today seeing as how this is the day I meet with my knit wit friends. I took a plate of pound cake. I am so glad I did not bring any home. It was a hit, so that is good.
Right now we are knitting 27 hat and scarf sets for 2-5 year old  children in an orphanage in Zambia. The scarves are so small 4"x 36 inches.  We have some nice bright colors.  We have to have these finished by the end of May. 

On to my project:
I am still experimenting with this and I like this one, but I had planned some other items on it but got distracted by the hubby and glued it down, and totally forgot that I was going to punch holes in the images and run twine through them. I think that would have given it a more finished look.  But, it still has a nice CAS look.

Good Morning Friends,

It is my design day at Creative Inspiration Paints,
 It is bittersweet for me today. This will be my last post for Creative inspiration paints on Tuesdays, However, you will be seeing me on Sundays.
I have been honored with the reins that Jessica from chick-n- scrap has so graciously bestowed on me.  After a year of such wonderful and exciting Challenges and a lot of entries, she is moving on. We will miss you Jessica. I am hoping you will feel as much excitement and inspiration in the challenges that I will present, and continue to enter them for a chance to win these awesome products. My first challenge will be April 7. I will also be announcing the winners of the current challenge.

 As you know I love doing these 3 D projects.  This is so springy and cheerful for this season and I used the Jeweled inspirations in clear on top of the mushroom to sparkle it up a bit.

I trimmed the door with Creative inspiration paints in gold 

and put a door knob on it with a dab of paint

This is the week for the circle or square at Mojo and card feature at BBTB2- How perfect is that.
I have chosen "Life's a Party" cart for this really neat shaped card.
It is located on page 62 and cut at 4.25 on the E2

Happy Monday Morning Friends,

I always look forward to Mondays. It just starts the week off right.
Earlier I posted a Birthday card for my sister-- I posted it because I haven't sent it yet. Normally I would have everyones B-day cards to them on time. The last couple of years I have been a real slacker
How about you? Are you a slacker, when it comes to getting those cards mailed out on time?


Even though I don't get the cards out I thought I would make a Thinking of you card, after all I am thinking of them even if the card isn't there on time.



This is an experimental CAS card
I used jenni bowlin re-inkers in stick candy, brown sugar and chili powder to get the background image. Then I used Creative Inspiration white deliquesce embossing powder non top with the same stamps.
I love how this came out.  Sorry I am commenting on my own piece, but I really like how it came  out and  also think the colors give it a Southwest look

My older sister is a March baby, So here is the card I made for her even though it doesn't say happy birthday, I thought wishing her the Best, was just as good.
We  are looking at mid 60's temperatures  today. I am happy to see the warmer weather back again.

The layout workshop was a super deal I got three layouts done in the one hour

This was the last layout I did before my card making workshop.

I still have enough to make another layout or a few cards and extra embellishments.

I highly recommend the MME, as you can see the paper is incredible.

This is the second layout that I made in my workshop

Again these are all MME papers and products.
This class is very fast paced and I am pretty excited to be working on these layouts. What I realized in taking the workshop is that the kits are really a great way to go. Everything matches and you can just place things wherever you want and it looks good.




I am just finishing up my third layout when my cell phone rings and Katie says.  Guess who I ran into?  I'm sitting here with Donna.   I have a half an hour before my next workshop begins, so I pop out of my class and they are right there sitting on the deck in the sun.  Donna ( from popsicle toes) and I give each other a big hug, It was like we knew each other forever and hadn't seen each other in a while.   It is a beautiful day so we sit and enjoy the warmth of the sun and chat  and guess what we talk about?

Right Paper, scrap stuff, etc.


We talk about other things, but hey what happens at the scrapbook expo, stays at the scrapbook expo!!!
