Welcome to the  first  DL.ART Thankful Thursday challenge of 2014.  We are off to a good start this year I have really enjoyed seeing all the fun projects that have been entered into the Linky party and the Thankful Thurday  challenges. Here is a new challenge for you, I hope you will have fun.



DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #124


THEME: 

Heart, Hearts, Valentine's day, love etc.

I made a set of 4 valentines cards

Don't you just love these cute little cards? The heart guy and gal are from the Cricut Imagine cartridge "Enjoy the seasons and so are the DP.  I think rounding the corners gave it a softer effect and adding the ribbon and the liquid pearls just pulled it all together. These cards were so fun to make.
The base is PTI kraft card stock and I added the stitching with a white gel pen

The prize: 

6x6 MME paper pad and 

creative charms flower embellishments

 AND 

10 yards of red and white twine

Hi Friends,


Ok! so I dressed the bear up like a turkey so I think the title fits well.
I used Enjoy the seasons cricut cartridge for all the designer paper and the image is from Teddy bear parade.
This one was a lot of fun and a lot of layers. My sentiment and ink are from My pink stamper,  the ink is hybrid darkest night.

I hope your week is off to a good start.Mine is I did a fun card this morning. Anytime I can make a Thank you card I am happy, because that means someone cared enough for me to do or say something kind. Anyway onto my card

PTI soft stone, sketched shapes stamps & die set , beautiful blooms.

the leaves a scraps from a tree card I made a few weeks ago

viva pearl pen- I am always amazed as how cool those pearls come out

Hi Friends,

4 more days of summer and then it is fall. It is fitting that I make a fall card and it I planned it out to fit a few challenges, BBTB2, DCD to name a couple.

I can not wait to meet my cute little grand nephew.  The time slipped by so quickly I never finished the afghan I had started for him. I will have to get that out and finish it up the next week or so. I will post it when I am finished.
This card was  a lot of fun to make. I used PTI card stock for the layered borders, which are from spellbinders. dark chocolate terra cotta tile and harvest gold, my base is fine linen. The DP is from cricut imagine cartridge enjoy the seasons, that is also where my images of the apple and the branch with the leaves on it is from. I used 3M foam tape to pop three leaves up to give it some added dimension.  I thought at first it looked a little busy, but that is how fall looks to me when the wind is blowing and leaves are falling. The sentiment is from PTI Mighty Oak stamp set in dark chocolate ink.

I found another  sketch that I like so here we go....

I really had a lot of fun with this one I made both of the back ground papers -- I used hero arts starry sky background paper with Jenni Bowlin chicken feed, penny black music background with PTI winter wisteria, Jenni Bowlin cough syrup and some versamark onyx black ink. the balloon is from Enjoy the seasons (IC) The cute little bee is from imagine more (IC). The dry embossing is swiss dots on Bazzill card stock
This is all on PTI kraft card stock - the background paper was white stampers select until I changed the color
The spring sentiment is from Easter Tags.

Good Morning again friends,


I love my  MOJO  Monday's I an so happy when I can get project done for the sketch on Monday and to top it off, I needed to my a birthday card for a friend of mine, whose daughter will be having a birthday on Friday.  So I incorporated them together  and added the cute bird so it would fit in the Fantabulous cricut challenge.---

I also made my first ever triple bow,I hope it stays tied.

I used Create a Critter 2 for this cute little bird and the imagine enjoy the seasons pattern for the papers

I used the neon pens from Sakura- I think they glow in the dark, I'm not positive maybe you need a black light. I used the my pink stamper sent met set "Boy Crazy" and Versamark onyx black ink.

Don't you jus love these cheerful happy colors?

Hi There I am back--
Time again to get my MOJO going---

I do not do square cards that often mainly because of the envelope and the stamp situation. Over the years I have realized that if you make a 41/4 x 41/4 it will fit in an A2 envelope and there will be no need for extra postage.

I just love this sketch --- So much that I will definitely do it again.

Isn't this just the cutest card for a little boy. I also made it to fit the challenge over at Bitten by the Bug another one of my favorite challenges. I just love the blue color in this and the stars and I don't think it is too spooky, Do you?

I am using G-45 Happy Haunting collection
 with Imagine cartridge "Enjoy the seasons" for the ghost and the cat.

Happpy-Beep Beep Birthday!!

Good Afternoon friends,


We are at 64 degrees right now.  I started watching a movie on Net-flicks, then I remembered I hadn't finished this card  I started. Some of the challenges that I made it for will be ending soon or probably already have.  I was two weeks ahead of myself for posts, that had to be done.  Now my goal is to stay caught up with my posts. As soon as I finish posting this I will finish the movie  while icing my back and  shoulder.

This is such a cute card. I bought this cartridge a few weeks ago.  I mainly bought it to make cards for "Feel the love Project"  that Madison hosts on her blog, FUNKY CARDS and over at Cooking with Cricut. The name of this cartridge is called Beep Beep, and it reminds me more of little boys than girls. That is why I got it.
