I hope you all had a safe Memorial Day weekend.

Here is my coffee card for this month. I have been in a monthly card exchange for awhile now and this is the card I am sending out today, but I thought I would post it first.  I used Unity stamps for the coffee cup and flowers. I cut the shape out from the CTMH "ARTISTRY" cartridge, and printed the sentiment . The ribbon is "midnight" from the "Newspaper Bundle" The cardstock is from my stash.

Good Morning Everyone,


I love how this came out, I was going to weed all the cuts from the inner part of the sunflower and then realized I would lose a lot of the  color so I left it. This is such a summery look do you agree? I lost the dot for the "i" just when I was getting ready to put it on , so I used yellow stickles for the dot.  You probably thought I did that on purpose.  I love when mistakes turn out to be a good idea.

My watercolors are always ready to go. I have a fisherman's tackle box  with all the tools I need in case I just want to paint outdoors, I also have a smaller water color tool kit for when I travel on planes.  I use to paint on location quite a bit, I seem to be in the studio more these days.

Have a wonderful Memorial day. remember those who sacrificed their lives so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today.

I used the CTMH "Urban workshop on the go" scrapbook kit to make this card.   I love this kit the papers are fantastic and the stamp set and embellishments that go with this kit are super. These were scraps left over from the pages. I used Colonial white for the "That was so awesome" sentiment and cut that using the CTMH Artistry cartridge then stamped the sentiment with saffron ink.

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick share. I made this celebrate card with mighty oak  die and  birthday cheer die.
I used a stencil and masked it off and colored it in with  creme brulee , goldrush and canary inks . I added the the celebrate die cut with Stormy sea card stock. I added six liquid pearl drops  and I am always amazed how much they look like real pearls.
