DL.ART  JULY LINKY CHALLENGE (anything goes)

We (close to my heart) now have thin cuts dies to go with a few of our stamp sets.  I got them all this month. Two months ago  spring critters sold out pretty quickly. I wish I had thought to buy a few sets, because  some of my friends wanted some and they were all gone. Not everyone has an electric die cutting machine and this makes a perfect choice for those of you who use the hand crank type, and  would like to have a die for you stamps.

Here is my project for the DL.ART JULY linky challenge. I Hope you like it. I always feel like July should be full of red white and blue. I guess that is the Patriot in me. I hope you all had a safe Memorial Day weekend.

Here is my coffee card for this month. I have been in a monthly card exchange for awhile now and this is the card I am sending out today, but I thought I would post it first.  I used Unity stamps for the coffee cup and flowers. I cut the shape out from the CTMH "ARTISTRY" cartridge, and printed the sentiment . The ribbon is "midnight" from the "Newspaper Bundle" The cardstock is from my stash.

Good Morning Everyone,


I love how this came out, I was going to weed all the cuts from the inner part of the sunflower and then realized I would lose a lot of the  color so I left it. This is such a summery look do you agree? I lost the dot for the "i" just when I was getting ready to put it on , so I used yellow stickles for the dot.  You probably thought I did that on purpose.  I love when mistakes turn out to be a good idea.

My watercolors are always ready to go. I have a fisherman's tackle box  with all the tools I need in case I just want to paint outdoors, I also have a smaller water color tool kit for when I travel on planes.  I use to paint on location quite a bit, I seem to be in the studio more these days.

Have a wonderful Memorial day. remember those who sacrificed their lives so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today.

Memorial day is the day to honor and remember our soldiers from every war that ever was. Remembering those who served and died.  Freedom isn't free and the lives of those who have made it possible for us to enjoy our today's and tomorrow's should always be remembered.
