Here is the Blog Candy first: $15. Gift Card to Michaels
Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of organizing a few things on my blog, and if I don't blogger does it for me (lol).
I want you to know how things work for the THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGES and my giveaways. The challenges are posted on my right sidebar. Once I have chosen the random .org winner their name will appear, after the date the challenge ended. If you do not see a name there I have not drawn it yet. Once the winner has contacted me and I have shipped it, I move it over to the bottom left sidebar. That keeps me organized, I have to do it that way, because I sometimes have 3 challenges (with giveaways) opened and a giveaway at the same time. I hope that helps some of you trying to find who won or if you won. If you find that tip useful for your own organizing, Please let me know.
Now onto the challenge. I bet you guessed it is a Thank you card- your right, but with some elements:definitely some RED, because it is a Thank you card for a valentines gift and something glittery (I used stickles in silver),You will have until February 11, 2012 @11:59 to enter your card.
I had fun making the rosette the other day, so I thought I would make another one today. The heart in the middle is a left over from the other day I think it is from Cricut "life's a party", the other hearts are basic shapes from the imagine.
The papers I used are Echo Park, " yours Truly". You can purchase it at Shop pumpkin Spice for 30% off retail
Black card stock for the card base the button is from my stash and the twine is MS
The sentiment is Inkadinkadoo and onyx black Versamark ink.
Looking forward to seeing your entry in this challenge, Have a blessed day, Diana

It is LOVEly Diana! I use the same rules of organizing and re-organizing my blog design. I like the two sidebars to be equally maintained...LOL!

Beautiful card! Will try my best to link to this challenge.
ReplyDeleteEspecially like the rosette and button attached. Woo hoo I'm entry #1 (am entry #13 on another challenge that I entered this Thank You Card with a Valentne theme and I'm not superstitious about being #13 or #1). Will be more thankful when we get our garage door opener problem solved. Our opener broke on new Year's Day. Hubby replaced it with a new Genie brand and the new one opens on its own (not good & could say it is the genie in the garage door opener that did it but come on). To make a long story somewhat short we are awaiting a new circuit board and if that does not solve it then we can remove & take back to Home Depot for a replacement. I;m thankful that the heavy rain of over 5" we have had the past couple days has stopped & I know we needed it.

Your rosettes are looking fabulous. I should try and make some more this weekend. I just worry about them getting squished in the envelopes. Looking forward to entering your challenge.
