Good morning Friends,
Here is something else I worked on over the weekend. I love making ATC's, because I really do work outside the box. For those of you who follow me, you may not know this side of me. So here is this side of me. Unconventional, wild, recalcitrant, and basically a rebel, not really, I just like art for art sake, the process is what I like, the feel of the paper and the results of the different media. I am using a digi image and I have colored it with Copic markers and Prisma color pencils.
This was not part of the workshop, it was just something I took with me to work on while I was there. I hope you like it. Actually that was part of the workshop to bring whatever you want to work on.
I 'm rambling again--- go figure.
I love reading your comments.
Have a blessed day, Diana

Rambling or not something so eye catching about your design. I know what you mean about the feel of the materials in your hands one of the things I like about crafting holding the ribbon, twine feel of the paper...all good

Like the Alice artwork. This reminds me of my wonderful daughter's illustration of Alice she did for last semester Illustration final.

ReplyDeleteI love how you have layered two different sizes of Octopode Alice. The fact that you have colored with two different media adds extra Wow! The colored pencil image has so much texture which really makes the Copic colored image pop! Thanks for playing with us at The Altered Alice!

Thanks so much for playing along with The Altered Alice! The dual image is really great. Love the way the background image on kraft is shadowy compared to the bright foreground image! Very cool effect!
ReplyDeleteDiana this is very artistic. It is a little on the wild side. Reminds of art pieces found at art shows.
