Good Evening Friends,
I needed another sympathy card, in fact I need quite a few more. I won't go into it now, but let me say this has been one of the longest darkest weeks in quite awhile. I do see light at the end of the tunnel, because I know where my hope comes from. I am thankful for the puffy clouds in the sky today and my family and so much more. This is the second sympathy card I have made this week and I love the way it came out. It is my first ever Iris fold card. I used two different K & Company paper packs and 4 different patterns, but the patterned paper still looks good together.
The folding came together so easily because I used the "Iris fold cards" cut file from SVGcuts.com-- It is basically all done for you and if you get stumped Mary has a great video showing you how to put it together
The base of my card is PTI vanilla cream the the gray is Bazzill all the rest are from K& company. It took a bit of time to put together, but it was easy.
I hope you like it.

Party Time Tuesday: Anything Goes
Divas by design: Anything Goes

ReplyDeleteThis card is BEAUTIFUL! I tried one years ago when I saw them on the Carol Duvall show (oops, aging myself, huh?...lol) anyway, I ended up tossing it; it was awful -- never tried one again. I do really love how they look though -- guess I'll try one of the kits.
