Hi Friends,

Before I begin, Today is the last day for the THANK YOU challenge (link is above)

I was going to post this yesterday  on my blog,  but the day got away from me.  When  I went out to put it in the mailbox I was talking to our postman.   A couple of months  ago,  he said hospice had come in to help his mother, I told him I was really sorry.

Yesterday I  was a little reluctant to ask but something inside of me said ask.  I asked, " How is your mom doing?" He said,  "It is a miracle, hospice was there for about five weeks and one of the people suggested changing her medication. Her medicine was changed and she is doing remarkably better."

Miracles happen every day--- we just need to keep our hearts and eyes open-- If I had not asked, I would not have seen the miracle.

I need to make a few more of these to have on hand.  I seem to say this, but always end up making them at the last minute

Have a blessed day Diana

  4. So happy that his mom is doing better. We had hospice come in at the end of my dad's life (he was 92) and they were so wonderful not just to him but to all of us. I now donate to them every year! I feel so blessed that my dad was able to spend the last weeks of his life in his own bed surround by his children, children-in-law and grandchildren.

I love your card, just beautiful & elegant!

  12. Praise God for the miracles that happen every day! I'm so glad you shared this story. :o) And I'm sending you lots of love and prayers tonight, my dear friend... always know you are in my heart. Your card is unbelievably gorgeous. Iris folding is always beautiful, but especially so when using such lovely papers. The design is stunning, as well. What a special gift this will be to the future recipient.

    Hugs and blessings,
    Karen
