Good Morning Friends,

Another week begins, and I have one busy week coming up, Friday is the annual women's Christmas tea and I have not even decided what type of gift I will be doing for my guests. I have given it some thought, but I have been so busy with computer and imagine technical problems  and then on top of that being away for the better part of the week, set me back. I will move forward now and start preparing for it.
I did get a card done for a sick friend, they are not sick yet and I don't know who it is, but rest assured someone I know, will be sick, so I have a card made ahead of time.
I hope you like it, I think it is kind of funny and that it will cheer who ever it is up! I went for the CAS look.

MARCH 20, 2012***TUESDAY***FLOWERS IN VASE***

Good evening everyone,

I was driving today and my odometer read 33333- I thought of taking a picture to post, but because I was on the freeway I thought I better not.  By the time I was able to pull over, the odometer clicked 33336.
I still took the picture. Not as impressive as the 5 three's would have been.

About my card
The sentiment says feel better soon, but I think it is a little hard to see - so I may end up re-doing it. I was playing around with my scraps again.

This is an A2 card
All the papers are PTI except the one in the middle is water colour paper

Ink: versamark onyx black

I also bought some more copics today.  I am really liking these.

Tuesday Morning Celebrate the occasion Challenge #32

I  love this week when it is Celebrate the Occasion Team 2's time to inspire-- that was almost a tongue twister. This week will be an easy challenge lets see if we can have the most number of entries ever.  The challenge is any occasion with a ribbon.
I wanted to make my card real clean and simple

I chose white card stock the card is 41/4" x 5 1/2"  I chose another piece a 1/4 inch smaller and embossed it, placed a strip of patterned  paper toward the bottom, stamped get well soon on another piece of white card stock and then adhered it to the patterned paper.  The ribbon was placed on the embossed piece before it was glued down. I love that sheer green polka dotted ribbon.  Before I put it all together I rounded all the corners.  I hope this has inspired you and you will check out all the other CTO designers  and inspired remember you have until 11:59 Sunday October 2, to enter this challenge
