Good Morning Friends,

It is design team day over at Bitten by the Bug 2

Our Design team sister Michelle has chosen as the  Theme of our challenge this week "Music Speaks"

Remember last week I said "I love all my cricut cartridges and I am trying to stretch my field by using some of the cartridges that I do not use that much. I have not used this one in forever (maybe a year) and I think I have only used it 2 times. There are some very pretty and detailed images on here. I cut the Violin or fiddle as the Irish may call it at 3.6. any smaller and the blade seemed to cut the fine lines up. My scalloped rectangles are cut at 2" for the color and 1.8" for the white. The background paper is cut at 3.8" from the 8.5x 11 basic shape on the imagine machine using the heirloom cartridge. It all sits on top of kraft cardstock. I used foam tape to pop up the violin. You can probably see the shadows underneath. My sentiment is from My Creative Time, "Celebrate good times"

I hope I have inspired you to enter our "Music" themed challenge and play along.

Wednesday afternoon again. BBTB2 Challenge

I do not have the Heritage cartridge, which was the challenge for BBTB2.  I used storybook instead for that awesome flourish in the corner which has a Teresa Collins brad in it from Christmas home set. I  printed on AC card stock, with Heirloom (IC) cartridge. The trees are stamped from S&P company and inked with Jenni Bowlin stick candy  on Bazzill basic white card stock, and then I fussy cut them out. I used 3M foam tape to give them dimension. The button is from the little red cottage and the twine is from my stash. I used spots and dots embossing folder on the Kraft paper and a Marvy Uchida punch for the tag.

Wednesday-Afternoon

Hello Everyone,
I hope you are having a great day. I have been busy working on the ATC's, and my art room looks like a bomb went off in it.  I need a wife--hahahaha. (that sounded chauvinistic)
I did however get this card made, unfortunately I could not get it to work for too many challenges or it would look too busy. So I am settling for The CC sketch challenge and maybe one other, if I can find it  again.

It is an A2 card, I used the Cricut cuts from Storybook, I used the heart shift, then the heart shorty/ holes and my third cut was branch.3 Accent black out.
I used PTI vintage cream and chocolate from the Paper company, the ribbon is from 3 girl jam.(Click Here)
The stamp set is from PTI. The printed paper is from Heirloom

SATURDAY-Morning- LUFP

 Good Morning,
I ended my Friday evening with linking up for pink and I'm starting my morning linking up for pink. I am always experimenting.  Here is my latest. I took Quik Kutz stamping foam and created my own ribbon stamp, and then I put it on a QK rocker. I used colorbox Pink ink and I used a red sable watercolor brush and water to give it the watercolor effect. I made a few different kind I really like how they came out and I need to link one more up for pink, because I missed the first day.

I used one of my discarded watercolor paintings and cut up a bunch of  2 1/2 x 3/12 ATC's, for further use
Here I am stamping to get a faded look, I think it came out pretty good, depending on the back ground paper I use this may work real well.
Here is my finished card
A2
PTI spring moss cardstock
All my patterned paper is from heirloom (IC)
colorbox chalk ink

OOOps!  LUFP ended last night at midnight I thought it was tonight at midnight- I will still do one more card today.

WEDNESDAY -AFTERNOON

I think awareness of this disease is so important. Yesterday one of my friends was saying her daughter found a lump in her left breast and the daughter said I don't want to go have it checked because it may be something  bad. One way to look at it is if it is bad now, it can only get worse if left untreated, better to put your mind at rest and have it checked. It may turn out to be minor. If this looks a bit familiar to you, It should,
It is the negative of the card I did a couple of days ago. I like the way this one came out.
Hope you like it have a great day--

Remember my Starbucks $15 Gift card and set of four of my coffee cards ends tomorrow @ midnight, but the gratitude continues to enter  (Click Here) .

I just love reading your comments.

SATURDAY-AFTERNOON- Birthday Sundaes

I really had fun with this one, not only is it a belated birthday card I am at the 11th hour getting it into the challenge. I think this is the cutest little snail. I cut it at 3". It is very dimensional because I  cut the shadow three times.  The background paper is tiny stop watches. I used 5 different patterned papers and I do not think it looks too busy,  maybe due to the contrast of the slow snail? Food for thought. I used Sakura glaze pen for the eyes.
I am entering this in the Birthday Sundaes belated birthday theme challenge.(Click Here)
I am also entering this into wee memories  WMC69
