If you have been following my blog for any length of time,  you know Pagoda is one of my favorites. I can not pass up a chance to use pagoda.  Two things came up there is a challenge over at MAGClick here to use only images on page 52 Click Here for that
The other is the Pink Stamper (I always start to type pink panther). A follower of Robyn's blog has asked if Robyn would ask her followers to encourage the tornado victims in Joplin by sending cards to the following address with a note of encouragement on the inside. Here is the link to that post   HERE
or you can just send them to this address.

This is the card I am sending.

SATURDAY- PAGODA Episode # 4 part 1 and 2

This video is a long time coming and over due,  I have had so much fun entering all the challenges and blog hopping and painting, that Pagoda has been on the back burner, but always calling me.  I answered and here is episode 4.  I really love this cartridge and I will probably do another video.

I want to warn you before you watch this video I did absolutely no editing whatsoever, and no one was injured in the making of this video, it just sounds like it in the first part. Remember, you are  the one in control, you can always fast forward through areas you do not want to watch -- like where the paper is being cut in real time.

THURSDAY-TRIFOLD PAGODA CARD

Someone had been asking about a tutorial on a Tri-fold card. I have been wanting to make more cards with the Pagoda cartridge so this was perfect for me to get to use some of the images that I have been wanting to  make cards with.

I did a video of the trifold card it is very lengthy mainly, because I am going through my thought process as I do the card the whole card took about 45 minutes, but I did eliminate the cricut cutting portion from you viewers so you wouldn't have to suffer through it. Plus I did have to re-cut a couple of the images because I had changed the setting on my machine ( I have no idea how that happened.)

I t is in three parts Pagoda Episode#2 parts 1, 2, 3

Here is the recipe:

1 12x12 AC black card stock - cut down to 8 1/2 by 12 folded on the 4 and the 8
1 12x12 Core'dinations in blue hue
1 12x12 DCWV  from the Far east stack
1 8 1/2 x 11 Lavender moon PTI

Doll cut at 2 1/2
Umbrella cut at  3"
Temple  2"
Bowl 1 1/2"

Comments are always read and appreciated

HELLO- WEDNESDAY-

I saw a beautiful double rainbow today has nothing to do with the cards that I made today but look for a rainbow tomorrow that is what I'm thinking.

I spent quite a bit of time on my video, taping and editing, then it was too long  to post, needless to say it will be in two parts
I'll most likely post part two tomorrow if I don't get time tonight.

The directions and the recipes for these cards is on the video.

GET WELL CARD

Had an art reception to go to today. It was really a lot of fun. Saw a lot of new faces that are now members of the Art League.

I created this card for a lady I've met on the blogs, whose sister had surgery earlier in the week I will get this in the mail tomorrow.
I hope she gets well soon.

I wanted it to be simple:
Here is the recipe: A2 (4/14 x 5 1/2)
Card stock Georgia pacific white -this paper is a bit thin for making cards so
the embossing is both inside the card and on the outside of the cover.
Embossing folder :is from the Asian bundle
Core' dinations -- two tones of blue
cartridge Pagoda.
ATG gun and foam tape

Red Black and White card, Very Simple Card

The card is 4 1/4 x5 1/2- AC card stock.  The white on the doll is also AC card stock. The  front are the flowers punched from the doll on the inside, I did numerous dolls for other occasions, so all these flowers were left over. The red behind the doll is from Spring Flower Shower Spring paper stack from last year (DCWV)
