 Challenge #241 "Always Thankful"

 Happy Thursday Everyone,

Wow can you believe spring is only a couple weeks away I sure hope spring weather comes with it.

A reminder on the changes for the challenges-

To begin, the Themed challenges will now start on the first Thursday of the month and end on the last Thursday of the month. There will only be one DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE a month.
Every other month the challenge theme will be "Always Thankful" and on the others months it will have a "different theme"
The themes will be posted in the tab bar above so you will know ahead of time what they are. You can enter 2x per week.
The Thankful Thursday challenges will now just be for fun, there will no longer be a prize for these challenges.

There will still be a DL.ART Monthly linky challenge with Anything goes, starting on the first day of the month and ending on the last. You can enter 1 x per day.

WEEK #2 Project
Is this card just too cute?  It kind of reminds me of St Patrick's day maybe because of the green maybe because of the freckles on the little guys face. If you like the little doll face that image is in my Vintage doll faces flair  Set #4. The thanks is from CTMH thin cuts and the 3D embossing folder is from CC. The crinkle ribbon can be purchased here

Week #1 Project

I had a great time last weekend at the scrapbook expo. I met up with my good friend Katie and we just reconnected and shopped and ate. we did happen to do a make and take at the Charity Wings booth. We always like to see Elaina and contribute to the cause of ART. We got to meet her little boy Devon who is only 6 months and a really good little baby. Lawn fawn donated all the papers dies and stamps (I think the ink also, but I can't remember) The card measures 4.25 x5.5 the background paper, the dies, and stamps are all lawn fawn. I think most cards will kind of look like this!!!

If you are ever at a scrapbook expo and charity wings is there, be sure to stop by and do a make and take it helps support arts for children.

Hi Everyone,

Doesn't it seem like we always need thank you cards?
I certainly love this Window die cut and stamps from MCT.
Emma is having a 5th Anniversary release this week it should be a lot of fun.

Here is a close up of the window. I Used quite a mix of papers.
Graphics 45, Basic grey and DCWV

To the thanks I added a few hints of gold at the edges, I went very light and it is very subtle. I used a gel and roll pen (from a huge set that I have had for awhile)

Hi Everyone,

As you all know I just love making thank you cards. Here is really a fun kind of punny one. Thanks to the "Monkey see Monkey do" stamp set from Jaded Blossom. My card stock is crate paper, AC and PTI. The ink is onyx black from versamark

I fussy cut the monkey out after coloring him with  copic markers.
I also used the stitched circle dies from Jaded Blossom for my circle cut outs.

I used the Mojo sketch #429

Hi Friends,

I was able to sneak in  a few minutes to make a few more cards.  I am all out of Thank you  cards. I am also getting low on B-day cards, especially for little ones. I will need to replenish these soon.  You know what you will be seeing in the near future now.

I wanted to do a clean simple card  for the CAS Friday challenge and I am trying to use all these sheets of paper that are left from some card bases I made.  This is another thing you will be seeing a lot of, at least until I have cut up most of what I can from these half sheets.

It was pretty easy I used the same die for each color and you will see by the end of the week how this will unfold-- I call it my paper soap opera.

PTI
pure poppy, orange zest, summer sunrise, ripe avacado, ocean tide
Shape up die, Ink Ripe avacado
Sentiment Inkadinkadoo. Thanks....

CAS Friday:CAS Thank you

Thanks for stopping by have a blessed night, Diana

TUESDAY Evening

Good Evening Everyone,

Found out something interesting at my Health Club today. All the classes that they use to charge us for, are all now free, yes free and babysitting is also free, that is super for young families. I think that is really great, because new mom's really need a break.
Anyway, Here is another post today. This is for a challenge that I almost forgot I had downloaded this digi for.  OOOOOPs!!! I was tooooooo late the challenge has already closed. I think I'll poke around and see if I can find a challenge that it fits.  I think there is a term for this a day late and a dollar short.
Oh well I had fun doing it.

This is such a cute digi - I used Derwent colored pencils on this one. I printed thanks with Sakura neon gel pens.
