Hi Friends,

I really do love this time of year. From September to the end of the year.  To me, it is a time of thankfulness, peace and joy.  I am so grateful that my mother is still alive and it must be the kid in me, but I strive to make her the best card every year, that I can, for Thanksgiving and then Christmas.

I spent a lot of time on this I cut out the pumpkin from the Thanksgiving (CC). I hand-colored it with copic markers and also finished the inside. I don't always finish the insides of my cards, sometimes it is like making another card.  I think that is going to be my new goal to finish the insides of cards.

They just look more finished (no pun intended)

TUESDAY EVENING - AGAIN ANOTHER CHALLENGE

I tried to keep this monochromatic. I only used three patterned papers here  and they are all in shades of brown, but it looks too busy to me,  I think it has to do with everything being all swirly.  If I would have cut the lettering any smaller it would have been much too difficult to work with. Although I am pretty pleased with the way the cuts came out. I will call it finished. The patterned paper is from the vintage imagine cartridge and the card stock is PTI.
I'm entering this into :
Die Cuttin' Divas: Native American Thanksgiving
Creative Card Crew:Monochromatic

Tuesday- Celebrate the Occasion CHALLENGE #40 celebrating Thanksgiving

This is Challenge # 40 over here at Celebrate the Occasion.
The challenge is to create a Thanksgiving card and you must use a button. I hope you will visit all the CTO design team members for inspiration on this challenge and then begin a design of your own, then link it up before Sunday November 27th  by 11:59 p.m.

I went for the simple design here.  I fussy cut this wreath and cut about a third of it off glued it to the paper and then stamped Happy Thanksgiving, I rounded the corners and that is the end of the story.
EASY . Oh yes I added a button with twine. I took along time cutting out the wreath. I think it came out very pretty the paper is from DCWV.  My stamp is and old one that I have had for years a good old fashioned rubber stamp by stampendous. I used versamark onyx black ink.
I hope you all have a very stress free and Blessed Thanksgiving.
Big Hugs, Diana
