Happy Thursday,

Lucky us!! We managed to be without power the last couple of days, due to the atmospheric river.  To stay warm we went to the health club, out to eat, shopping, out to eat again. driving around with the heat on and the heated seats warming us. Piled the blankets on at night and hoped for the best. We got heat last night so I could make today's post.

The hubs and I celebrate our Anniversary this month Yay Us!! Beside that it is one of my favorite months, because there is so much to be thankful for and Thanksgiving is my fave holiday. It is all about being thankful for what we have and I like that.

 Challenge #245 "SUMMER"


Happy Thursday Everyone,

I am sorry I have been MIA so much lately, in a few days I will fill you in on what I have been up to. For today, I am going to enjoy the fourth and I hope you do also.




A reminder on the changes for the challenges-

      To begin, the Themed challenges will now start on the first Thursday of the month and end on the last Thursday of the month. There will only be one DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE a month.
Every other month the challenge theme will be "Always Thankful" and on the others months it will have a "different theme"
The themes will be posted in the tab bar above so you will know ahead of time what they are. You can enter 2x per week.
The Thankful Thursday challenges will now just be for fun, every once in awhile there will be a prize offered.

There will still be a DL.ART Monthly linky challenge with Anything goes, starting on the first day of the month and ending on the last. You can enter 1 x per day.There is always a prize for the monthly linky.

Week #2
The DSP is from Echo Park Imagine that. The stamps and dies are from Joy Clair Seas the day I won this on their challenge last year I just love their stamps. I used copic markers, CTMH Thistle ink and Lawn fawn merman ink. The crinkle ribbon is from the DL.ART golden crinkle ribbon bundle. I really had a lot of fun with this card. It measures 4.25 x 5.5

Week #1
The crinkle ribbon is from the Spring bundle you can find it HERE
I used liquid glass to hold the acrylic domes to the bottom of the card  to add interest. I created a fun summer scene that reminds me of my everyday life.
I hope you love my project. I used Summer Lovin' from Carte Bella
The card measures 4.25 x 5.5.

When I started my blog in 2011, I saw a lot of blogs that gave things away and I liked that, not necessarily to be on the receiving end, but to give something to someone else, that would either cheer them up or make their life easier or more organized.  These were called random acts of kindness.   I had giveaways at the beginning,  then, I started having challenges on my blog which you have to participate in to win a prize.These are great and they are fun. But, wouldn't it be nice to  RECEIVE something FUN  in the mail that makes you happy at a time you need that pick me up the most, just out of the blue?

FYI   Remember these are random I will not email you to say it is coming and if I do not have a name and a physical address I can not send it to you. However sometimes I do send an online gift card so it is good to have ALL basis covered





 I will be doing RAK (random acts of kindness). If you would like to participate, GET ON THE LIST:

I have a lot of products and it is time to make room for new stuff.

I also wanted to mention I used the CTMH Close to My Heart July stamp of the month "Circus alphabet"to make my RAK badge. With a qualifying order you can receive this stamp set for only $5.00. Isn't that great?

You have 5 days to still get this stamp. I also used the new Shinhan markers to color the letters in.
 After I photographed it, I realized I need to get my new eyeglass prescription filled. I colored out side of the lines ( oh my). Oh I will have more info on these markers for you, later,  I love them!!!
