Happy Monday Everyone,

I hope you all had a great fourth. I am happy to say there were not too many fireworks going off here, which is a good thing when your community is in stage 3 drought and water conservation.

We did really  well last month, we used 75% of what we are allotted.

On to my card, I use this stamp set a lot. Mainly because I like it and it makes me happy.

The details are below.

I used Funky Florals stamp and die set from PTI.  The inks are from my Close to my Heart store
creme  brulee, sunset, barn red, lagoon and chocolate.The printed card stock is from the CTMH Blossom kit and the green i AC cardstock. I just love how this card came out. Each of the flowers are die cut to form the border.

Hi Friends,

Ancient Rome Era was used elaborate borders and mosaics. I think I missed the boat on this one mine came out with kind of an Asian Flair even though I was trying for a mosaic look, first I started penciling it in and that took forever and did not look dark enough to work so I cut the background out in black and glued it on top.  Stamp A Fair 2014. The card is 4.25 x 4.25. The flower and the leaves were much prettier before I added the mosaic to it.  Still if someone were under the weather I think this card is perfect.

I used a cricut die from ornamental iron and the sentiment and the border  is from Asian Fusion. The flower and leaves are from Happiness in bloom PTI. Card stock stampers select white and vintage cream
The inks I used are CTMH topiary juniper, pear, honey and ruby. Verafine onyx black
