Hi Everyone,
Happy Humpday!!

The Max tree is gone and the three hundred foot behind the house is down now. They will come back today to finish the final removal. quite amazing to watch them in action, that is some hard work and definitely team work. What a major relief to not have the max tree leaning on the house. When they fell the big tree behind our house I thought it was an earthquake, it shook and rattled the glass. It only lasted for a moment.
When I go to Michigan around Christmas I always take my little elf Hope.
My grand niece just loves to hold her so I started a little journal for her. What you are seeing is the cover, I am going to go through all my photos and see if I can get a pretty good journal started for her. She loves to read and write. In first grade she received high honors in reading and is at a 6th grade level.  At dinner one evening she said I am going to write a book, right then and there she wrote in a short story, we all thought she meant when she grew up. She is an amazing young lady.

On to my project I used  PTI stamp "For You. The ink versamark black onyx. The designer paper is PTI gingham orange zest and classic craft
The little notebook was a gift from my friend Sherri from Sherri scraps with passion

Hi Everyone,

Sadly, I will be needing a few of these sympathy cards.  I will probably make extras to have on hand for when needed and for my store in case someone else might like one. I use to think sympathy cards were my least favorite to make, but if my cards lift someone up and give them hope for the future, than I am blessed and should take joy in making them.

For this card I used PTI  die cut twig wreath and for the sentiment, for the background I used AG embossing folder from the spring florals.  The 8 ply twine is from my DL.ART store

The tree that fell the night before happened to fall into the forest behind one of the neighbors houses. It was a large eucalyptus. We are in for some more rain and high winds tomorrow. We have a 72 fo fir tree right next to our house, rubbing up against it. We had the tree service guy out to look at it and he said it is split in the middle it may need cables to hold it together or take it down. As much as I hate to lose the tree, because I named it after my dad. I don't want it falling on the house. The sad part is, (we think)  it may be heritage tree and we would need the cities permission. So keep us in your prayers that the tree withstands the storm.

One of my many favorite cartridges is the Cricut imagine "Enjoy The seasons". I love my imagine machine, it makes life easy and quick for coordinated projects. I used CTMH olive ink and TH distressed ink to ink the edges of my label. The sentiment is from close to my heart. The twine is from the DL.ART store
