Challenge #328-Father's Day

Make a project about Father's Day

My card base is 4.25 x 5.5, chocolate brown 100#
the DSP is DCWV, twine from the DLART store
the cricut image is from AG cartridge gracious giftables. I used hammermill 110# cardstock for the sentiment and 80 # AC blue textured cardstock for the frame. I hope you will pop over and see my Design team sisters and join in the challenge, the link is at the bottom.

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

Happy Tuesday everyone,

I was asked to be guest designer for this week at Die Cuttin' Divas. It is always such an honor and fun to create with some of my bloggy friends. The challenge is to create something with your favorite color.
If you did not already know my favorite color is green and because father's day is approaching, I decided to make a father's day card mainly using green. One of my favorite manly papers is the GUY STACK from DCWV and because I am on a step card kick right now, it all came together like this and yes!!! that is all fussy cutting and lots of layers and patterned paper. Wow! I think I can enter this in a few challenges.

Hi Friends,

I sure hope you all got to hop yesterday with the Creative Inspirations Paint/ Genuinely Jane Studios. That was a fun hop with some awesome prizes.

On to today's card-- As you know I love echo Park and thrilled to see G45 team up with my fav. and perfect for a fathers day card!!!.


The design is called world traveler and the ship is a sticker all the pennants are scraps except for the two on either end they are from the sticker sheet and I clipped the edge to a V-- upside down.

The sentiment is from the PTI movers and shapers sentiment set and I only used a portion of the stamp and then hand printed the word DAD!!
The white paper is PTI as is the canyon clay and the pure poppy the base is stampers select white. The added bling is from stampendous. I thought that gave a nice look with out being feminine, because it looks more like studs.

Don't you just love this paper?

I love how this came out. The strong austere men of the Jane Austin era helped to inspire this card about travel and ramance.
