Happy  Saturday  Everyone,

We are having some beautiful weather 75 degrees today and the leaves are starting to fall from the trees. We have beautiful fall weather here. I apologize for being MIA. I was in Michigan for a week to see the niche where we place our mom and dad. It is such a beautiful place very peaceful and serene to walk in. Then, it was a surprise birthday party for our 10 year old niece, that was a lot of fun and she was very surprised, her parents did a great job planning it. It was wonderful seeing my best friend from childhood and my family.

When I left I knew I wanted to enter an art exhibit that I was invited to join. The last day to enter was Tuesday the 30th. While I was gone the painting was being developed in my mind. I started my painting on the canvas on the 28th, sealed it on the 30th and delivered on the 30th. I was very happy with the final piece. The reception is today at 4:00

The background of my card is painted with acrylics, after it dried I added

a die cut (PTI)  from white cardstock, I added a silver sequin at over the i from some sparkle. This is a requested card.

Good Morning Friends,


The conference was awesome! We actually had 210 attendees- oops I didn't have enough cards made. I met a lot of new women, the guest speaker was wonderful so down to earth and approachable. Everyone really liked the message she delivered and  felt very special.  I slept almost all day yesterday, except for eating, I felt like a cat.  Things should get back to normal now that the conference is over.  I do have a few small jobs coming up, but I have cut back this year because of the shoulder injury.  I am always thinking of someone, so I thought why not make another thinking of you card.  So that is what I did. I hope you like it.
