 DL.ART Thankful  Thursday challenge

THEME: INSPIRED BY PHOTO (this is what I am Thankful for)

I am thankful for so many things in my life and I have to share this with you because, this was the reason I started the Thankful Thursday challenge. On Tuesday of last week on my way home from work, I decided to stop and take this photo so you could see what I get to see all most everyday, if I chose to take this route.  Sometimes I take this amazing view for granted  and just drive by. 

Here are a few photos for some inspiration for you. Always remember to focus on what you have and not dwell on what you do not.

 Across the bay on the Horizon line is Monterey- about 45 miles-- That is where I go to get Michaels (ha ha)

Good Morning Friends

It is Thursday and that means another DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge.
 I really like to see all of you be comfortable sharing your work.  We all work hard at making the cards or our layouts, crafts or art. I love the fact, that there is the random.org site on the web, this way I do not have to judge any of your work, I love it all.  That is why this challenge,  will be another anything goes. Before Green was my favorite color,  purple was. So I thought it only fitting to let purple get a little bit of the spotlight. Although I do love the two colors together.

Let's see what you can do with purple and only one other color.

Here is my Take:  I used shades of purple and white

Good Morning Everyone,

I thought I would do something a little different this Thursday.  Instead of giving you a challenge You may link up anything.  I just ask that you leave a comment and also comment on at least  2 other peoples posts from the entries.

The heart  above is the one  I told you all about at Christmas.  I did not make this, but I had a locally well known beadier make it, as a gift for a friend.  I felt  a purple heart  was the perfect gift for her.  I Didn't want to post it before Christmas and spoil the surprise.  Speaking of surprises
